Therapeutic tools

Brief strategic therapy

Brief and Strategic therapy's aim is to releive symptom-related pain in a way that is as quick, as complete, and as lasting as possible. It is an interactive approach where the therapist and the person define together what the problem is, which coping strategies have already been (sometimes successfully) tried out, and finally, new ways of looking at the situation, of reacting to it can emerge and be put into practice.

HTSMA

L'HTSMA is a french technique meaning "hypnosis, strategic therapy, and alternative movements". It combines varioius elements of ericksonian hypnosis, brief therapy, and EMDR. It's a very full and successful approach to treat (among others) blockings due to anticipation fears, trauma, phobia, relationship to chronic pain or illness, or coping with loss or grieving.

Narrative Therapy

Narrative Therapy is a very interesting approach that allows, through questions asked by the therapist, the person to reconnect to values that are important to them, to find themselves again, to recreate a relationship to their resources, strengths and abilities that they might have forgotten, or that might be hidden by the problem.

Solution-focused hypnosis

Inspired by ericksonian hypnosis, created by Bill O'Hanlon, solution-focused hypnosis is an approach which is thoroughly respecful of the person. In this style of hypnosis, the experience, feelings and thoughts of the person are validated and integrated into the session, which makes this method extremely efficient.
